My career spans diplomatic communication, international affairs research, and senior leadership advisory across public and private institutions. I have served as a board member and senior consultant on some of Saudi Arabia's most consequential cultural and international positioning mandates, several central to Vision 2030. As an expert in internationalisation and globalisation, I help take Saudi cultural and educational products to global audiences, ensuring they travel with the same rigour and cultural intelligence with which they were built. I hold professional credentials from organisations including the IoD, OTT, and the KPI Institute, reflecting a standard of practice aligned with global benchmarks.

A professor of applied linguistics and a strategy consultant, I work at the intersection of higher education leadership, corporate governance, and national language strategy. My PhD in Applied Linguistics and Language Assessment from the University of Melbourne underpins a practice built on psychometric rigour and evidence-based judgment, applied wherever measurement, policy, and institutional credibility meet. My career spans senior university leadership, including roles as vice president, dean, and head of a vision realisation office, alongside board memberships, trusteeships, and advisory council appointments across public and private institutions. I currently direct language testing at the national level, leading the design and governance of assessment frameworks that carry Arabic proficiency measurement to international standards, in line with Vision 2030. I have delivered more than fifty executive training programmes in leadership, strategy, and quality assurance across Saudi Arabia and internationally. I am an IoD-certified board director, and that discipline of governance runs through every engagement I lead.
